Book Fair and Kids in the Kitchen Success
Thank you to all who contributed their time, efforts, or donations in making the Book Fair and Kids in the Kitchen an overwhelming success! We held these events at the Marion County Home & Garden Expo at Middletown Mall on March 1st and 2nd. We had several members there for many hours and that effort was very much worth it. Our total sales on books was a whopping $1,266.34! This means that Monongah Elementary School library will receive $633.17 in free books! We also had a Kids in the Kitchen booth and provided nutritional information, healthy recipes and fun snacks for the kids. Thanks to all who helped.
