Both our events were a big success. I want to thank everyone who participated and volunteered their time. With the help of the Girl Scouts of Fairmont, we gave out nutritional information and a healthy snack to over 500 people at the Home and Garden Expo. We even recruited a few ladies who were interested in learning more about the League!
We also had the Usborne Books come and set up a book fair to raise money for books for Marion County Headstart. The book fair raised $873.80 and that earned $436.90 in free books!
