Here is a brief recap from the February General Meeting:
Nan will be working to complete the paperwork this month to have the Junior League of Fairmont join the Fairmont Chamber of Commerce - yea!
February's Community Service Event Details:
When: Saturday, February 9th at 2:00 PM.
Where: St. Barbara's Nursing Home, Monongah
Meet: (if you don't know where to go): Wendy's on Locust Ave at 1:40 PM
What's Up: The JLF will be taking goody bags to the residents of the St. Barbara's Nursing home and visiting, during the patient's social time, with the residents. We hope you can come!
FYI: If you have any items that you would like included in the bags either get with Paula ahead of time or bring them with you!
February Board Meeting:
When: Tuesday, February 26th, 6:30 PM
Where: Nan's House!
March's Community Service Event Details:
When: March 1-2, 2008
Where: Fairmont Home & Garden Show
What's Up: The JLF will be hosting its annual Reach-Out-And-Read booksale and Kids in the Kitchen in conjunction with the Fairmont Home & Garden Show.
